Seemingly bitten with the bug at birth, Hazel had her start at performing as a child actor in the children’s theatre. In addition to acting, writing also became an interest and passion.
Her move into modeling came about five years ago when she realized her dream of going to University and modeling. It was in her second year that she began to model in University fashion shows, taking pictures with photographers, and building her portfolio.
This was about the same time when she started auditioning for parts in TV shows as well as Hollywood and Independent films. Her first acting job came as a back up dancer in Mariah Carey’s movie “Glitter”. Her first official modeling job was for JOLT COLA.

Glitter and Glamour is great, but the University degree was not sacrificed for the high stakes world of modeling. Hazel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Communication Studies from York University.
Now ready to take on the world, travel has not escaped her life’s purview. Already the well-established jet setter has hit all the American hot spots such as New York, Miami, LA, and Las Vegas. Now she has set her sights on Eastern Europe, with places like the Czech Republic on her itinerary.

Every day is another adventure and what do today and the future hold for this extremely busy woman of ambition? Currently she anchors on a Toronto news network, writes novels such as her last “Some Like it Hot: A Collection of Short Stories and Essays on Love, Lust, and Relationships,” and intends to go back to school to finish her doctorate in Psychology and become a Psychologist/educator/writer
